For more than 30 years, I’ve led in complex organizations, from startups finding their footing to Fortune 50 companies operating at scale. I’ve seen what helps people and organizations thrive. I’ve also seen how easily good intentions can stall without the clarity, alignment, and discipline to move them forward.

Those experiences have shaped the questions I continue to think about. What does it take to lead well when the answers aren’t simple? How do we stay grounded in our values and purpose while making difficult decisions? And how do we create organizations where purpose is not simply stated, but experienced?

That’s much of what you’ll find here. Practical perspectives on leadership, organizational performance, and doing meaningful work well. But not everything will begin with a big leadership question.
